"  This program gives these teenagers a priceless opportunity. It is really a dishonor that more politicians/ community leaders do not back this outstanding chance for advancement. I have such a respect for these kids. Some get up early for sports programs, some find ways to make up practices, some have jobs, but all of these cadets have very long days for the first three days of the week. They must find time for homework, responsibility, and recreation. They make some tough decisions and even tougher commitments. In the end, it is a great feeling to watch these high school kids become young adults. I believe in this program, what it stands for, and enjoy working with the others who support it. I am proud to say that I am involved with the CPFTA program.  "
