Welcome to the CPFTA 2010-2011 school year!
The program will begin on Monday, September 20, 2010.
All cadets must report to the Chicago Police Academy,
located at 1300 West Jackson Blvd. no later than 4 p.m.
for orientation.
Sophomores who applied for the fall 2010 program and
senior cadets will be receiving acceptance letters in
July 2010.

CLASS OF 2010 GRADUATES:
If you do not have your graduation diploma,
please e-mail us your current mailing address
so we may send it to you at cpfta@cps.k12.il.us.
If you applied to participate in the FREE Monterrey
Security summer program, below are the details of
the program start date. ONLY those 2010 graduates
who completed an application will be contacted to
confirm attendance.

Students with last names A – O will report from
June 21-23, 2 p.m.

Students with last names P – Z will report from
July 12-14, 2 p.m.
Monterrey Security will contact graduates to confirm
attendance. Cadets who commit and do not complete the
program, will be billed for the total cost.
CLASS OF 2011:
Cadets participating in the 2010 Summer Internship
must report to the Chicago Police Academy on Monday,
June 21st at 8:45 am for assignment.
Interested in taking the EMT-B course in October 2010?
All senior cadets must meet the following
deadlines/requirements:

COMPASS/ACT Results due 7/30/10
-
High School Transcript due 9/10/10
-
One Recommendation Letter due 9/20/10
-
200 word essay answering the question: "Why do I want to
participate in the EMT class and how does it relate to my
future goal?" due 9/20/10
All documents need to be faxed to Sandra Castillo at
773-553-2971 no later than the due date in order to be
considered for the EMT-B class.
